Sales and Service Manager
Maria was born in Queens, New York and moved to Pennsylvania at the age of 4. The town's name was Mount Bethel which was a small community that was located in northeast Pennsylvania. Upon graduating, she ventured to Palm Coast in 1993 to begin college at Daytona State. She received her Associates of Arts degree and decided she wanted to pursue a medical career. She attended Americare School of Nursing in Orlando, where she received her X-Ray Technicians License. Upon graduation, she relocated back to Palm Coast to be close to her family. Shortly after moving back to Palm Coast she met her husband, Mario. After much thought and support from her husband, they decided that they wanted to start their family in Palm Coast. This is when she started her banking career of 9 years. Maria started as a part time teller at Peoples First Community Bank. She was promoted to Teller Manager within 2 years of service. She held multiple positions during her tenure with Peoples First including loan processing and management. In 2009, Peoples First merged with Hancock Bank. She was promoted to Operations/Sales Manager shortly after the merger. Maria has lived in Palm Coast for nearly 20 years and loves the small town atmosphere that it has to offer. She has a wonderful husband of 10 years and an amazing 7 year old son. She enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering to support her community. She is very happy to be a part of the Intracoastal family and looks forward to sharing in their pride of superior customer service and core values.
